Who is She Productions?
She Productions is a female-led theatre company based in East Yorkshire, dedicated to creating bold, original, and entertaining theatre that amplifies Northern female voices. Founded in 2015, We are passionate about making theatre accessible to all while providing professional opportunities for emerging and established female artists.

What kind of work does She Productions create?
We create a diverse range of productions, from original family musicals to main stage productions and community-driven projects. Our work blends humour, music, and heartfelt storytelling to tackle contemporary social issues and celebrate untold stories.

Where do you perform?
We perform across Hull and East Yorkshire — from theatres and libraries to schools and community spaces — ensuring our work reaches a wide variety of audiences where they feel most at home.

What are your ticket prices?

Tickets typically range from £4-£16, with concessions available. Our Christmas musical tour is priced with families in mind (£4 per ticket) to ensure accessibility. Thanks to external funding and our 'Pay It Forward' campaign, we’re proud to provide free tickets to local children, families, and carers who might otherwise miss out — helping us bring theatre directly to the heart of the community.

What is your Christmas musical tour?
​
Each December, we produce an original family musical that tours East Riding Libraries, schools, and community venues. Designed for all ages, these shows are packed with original music, audience participation, and heartwarming storytelling.

How can I join She Productions as a performer?
​
We hold auditions for specific productions and work with a company of associate artists. Performers can email their CVs and headshots to info@sheproductions.co.uk. We’re especially committed to creating opportunities for female identifying performers, writers, directors, and technicians.

Do you hold open casting calls?
Yes! We hold open casting calls for many of our productions, welcoming diverse performers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Keep an eye on our website and social media for announcements. You can also email info@sheproductions.co.uk to express interest.

How do you support emerging and early-career creatives?
​
Supporting early-career creatives is central to our mission. Each of our productions champions at least one emerging artist, whether that’s a writer, performer, designer, or technician, to help nurture the next generation of theatre-makers. Are your performances accessible?

We strive to make our work accessible. We work closely with East Riding Libraries to ensure all our family shows are accessible at their venues. We also produce Access Guides and offer Touch Tours at our productions.
Do you offer relaxed performances?

Yes — our Christmas shows are designed to be relaxed at every performance and we include relaxed performances within our main stage productions.
